What You’ll Do :

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a mid-level Product Copywriter to join our in-house agency. You’ll get the unique chance to impact some of the world’s most iconic brands including DEWALT®, STANLEY®, CRAFTSMAN®, BLACK+DECKER®, LENOX®, and more.

This position is full-time and 100% remote. This person will work both independently and as a member of a creative team.

Job Specifications :

Work closely with product creators and brand strategists to develop copy for our Product Information Management (PIM) system that will feed websites and other creative deliverables globally.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain the tone and voice for multiple unique brands across the Power Tools, Outdoor, and / or Hand Tools & Storage business units.
  • Uphold legal and brand standards to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct research and gather information to develop product expertise.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks, manage schedule to meet deadlines, and to work independently when required.
  • Independently capture, interpret, and incorporate feedback from project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional partnerships with brand, product, legal, and other teams as needed.
  • Display agility and adaptability while ensuring attention to detail and top-notch end-user experiences, always.
  • Required Skills :

  • Exceptional writing, grammar, editing, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse project requirements and timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal interactions with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within Product Information Management (PIM) systems is a plus.
  • B2C e-commerce experience writing end-user focused (benefit-led) product information is a plus.
  • SEO writing experience is a plus.
  • Education and Technical Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or another related field.
  • 4+ years of copywriting experience.
  • Writing samples.
