As we are experiencing rapid growth in Colombia, Somo is looking for a Technical Director to provide expert leadership and mentorship of our teams!

About the Job

You'll be hiring and managing software engineers across a variety of disciplines, as well as developing Somo staff through reviews and arrangement of relevant training.

You'll also be a passionate advocate and ambassador for Somo’s technology function, internally and with Somo’s clients, and working as a Solution Architect when needed to design and propose technology solutions.

As well as this, you'll be representing Somo to clients and collaboration with all levels of Somo and client staff, including helping with technical presentations to clients and industry events, providing technical guidance to clients, and being interested in how future technology trends can help clients succeed.

About You

You are experienced delivering large, complex web applications in a commercial and client-facing environment, with a background as either a software architect or senior developer.

You have strong experience line managing and mentoring teams of developers, as well as strong-fluent written and spoken English communication skills.

You are capable of managing simultaneous lines of communication and work, and love working alongside cross-functional agile teams.
