The Business Analyst works with stakeholders and SMEs from the business, IT, and external third parties to gather, analyze and translate specific needs, producing clear unambiguous business requirements to support change delivery within the Online Deposits Project.
Ensure requirements are understood, developed and delivered in accordance with business expectations and global processes.
The Business Analyst will support and facilitate all aspects of the full change life cycle including testing, deployment and post production activities.
Position Objectives :
Facilitate requirement capture workshops, resolving complex scoping issues and any stakeholder / vendor conflicts.
Recommend options that best fit business needs and create system process flows that support the selected technical solution.
Provide consultation support during the functional and non-functional requirements gathering, user acceptance testing and end-
user training sessions.
Conduct analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of Banking Systems across functional areas.
Document business, data and system interface requirements in a clear and unambiguous manner : complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, and traceable.
Define data requirements, analyze source to target data mapping requirements, identify and provide solutions for data gaps.
Enter and maintain post implementation review logs and track all findings to closure.
Effectively and consistently communicate status of assignments and deliverables to project team members & stakeholders.
Gather, create and document current and future state business process flows.
Gain an understanding of IT PMO policies and standards for documentation.
Act as liaison between Business units, Vendor Partners and IT Project Team in all areas of support and enhancements.
Ability to coordinate, collaborate and communicate effectively with Global IT delivery teams.
Financial and / or Banking Services Knowledge
Retail and / or Commercial Knowledge
Basic knowledge of system architecture
Agile Framework Experience
Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle ( SDLC )
Business Process Excellence skills
Certified Business Analysis Professional from IIBA
Skills & Knowledge :
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Willingness to expand knowledge of IT processes and tools.
Effective use of Microsoft Office / 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Visio.
Influential communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences; written and verbal.
Provide recommendations by applying business knowledge, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
Need to be self-organized, results-oriented, self-motivated, collaborative, enthusiastic and proactive.
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment with calm.
Ability to hold themselves accountable and drive accountability of supporting teams
Effectively prioritize and escalate issues as required.
Ability to create process documents (context diagrams, flowcharts, swim-lane).
Experience creating requirements and test deliverables.
Attention to details to provide troubleshooting support.
