Tittle : Legal Assistant
Location : Medellin - Colombia
English Level : A B2-C1 level is required. Great grammar and sentence structure both in writing and while talking, is a must.
The position demands for the candidate to quickly get acquainted with statutes and other written text overseeing legal terminology.
Soft skills : Collaborative, organized, methodical and a team player. Need to excel at following instructions as they won't be interacting with clients but closely assisting the case managers on talking to insurance companies, getting police reports, notifying defendants and speaking to medical providers.
All traits are important but the most important one is permanence.
Hard skills : A bachelor's degree is highly desired, but exceptions can be made in the event the candidate is truly outstanding and as long as their college schedule isn't a problem.
Executive assistants support the case managers and do not talk to the clients. They are assigned tasks within each case.
They talk to insurance companies, document files, get police reports, notify defendants, speak to medical providers, etc.
They go through the same training a case manager does for the first four to six weeks. Then the legal assistant is done with training and the case manager continues.

Candidate MUST HAVE availability to work when required. Their schedule may be accommodated and switched based on the operations' needs, but the initial schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 : 00-17 : 00 CST (though that may be subject to change)
