This is the highest IT leadership role for ARP in our Latin America (LATAM) Business Unit. The Sr. Manager, Information Technology has top-
to-bottom ownership of IT execution, from strategic programs delivery to operational support and ensures alignment with the ARP LATAM business strategy.
As a member of the IT leadership team, the Sr. Manager, Information Technology participates in and contributes to overall strategy development, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of leveraging information and technology for competitive advantage.
The Sr. Manager, Information Technology works with internal and external resources to deliver and support comprehensive IT solutions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties :
Manages team of direct reports and is responsible for employee selection, development, mentoring, and performance management.
Responsible for overall talent management and employee engagement; cultivates an environment of safety, high performance, and ethical and legal compliance.
Fosters a business-oriented and results-driven culture and mindset across the IT organization.
Acts as a trusted advisor with business unit leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs; collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure cost-
effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs, and is able to respond with agility to changing business priorities.
Maintains expertise on the relevant technologies and platforms; provides direction on opportunities to leverage existing and emerging technology to respond to business needs.
Foster’s the IT organization's innovation efforts and role in experimenting with new solutions to support the enterprise and business group strategy.
Responsible for direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems and programs that fulfill business needs.
Develops and controls annual operating and capital expenditure budget for LATAM IT to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives of the enterprise and is within plan;
Works with HR and the IT leadership team to develop an IT "people strategy" that aligns with the business and IT strategy.
Both teams work together to continually look for leading-edge and innovative solutions to the recruitment, development and retention of the IT workforce.
Develops and maintains an IT workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies that balance the needs between growing the agility required to achieve digital business objectives and ensuring the core IT functions are reliable, stable and efficient.
Drives ongoing compliance of the Information Security and IT Internal Controls; Fosters an IT compliance oriented culture within the organization.
Lead IT managers to prioritize IT demands based on demonstrated value return and balancing strategic and operational priorities.
Education : Bachelor's Degree In Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
Ten or more years of experience in IT and business / industry; Five or more years of experience leading cross-functional teams and / or enterprise-
wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
Experience with Salesforce.com, SAP BPC, SAP BW, SAP BOBJ preferred; Experience with cloud platforms / solutions and particularly SAP cloud and HANA solutions desired.
Fluent in Spanish and English; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT workforce;
Portuguese language is an advantage.
Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, problem solving, and program management skills.
Deep understanding of current SAP software and the SAP roadmap and how other enterprises are employing SAP and related software solutions to drive value.
Travel 10%- 30% including both domestic and international travel
