JOB SUMMARY :
Market and sell ACI products and services to current and potential customers within a defined territory, industry and / or accounts and manage ACI's overall relationship with established accounts.
Develop strategy and manage the process of bringing the identified opportunities to a logical close that result in revenue retention and growth.
Keep current on ACI products / enhancements, competition and industry trends. Maintain account and territory records, update management on account activity, and provide forecast data as requested.
This role is the guardian of the customer relationship and is focused on retention, account penetration and net new customer selling.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Proactively manage revenue base by contacting customers prior to contract expiration and respond to customer requests in order to solve problems, renew contracts, and sell additional products and services.
Effectively build trust and credibility with customers without being in the same location as them. Develop approaches to utilizing technology to pursue sales opportunities.
Identify opportunities to market ACI products and services to current and prospective customers in the assigned territory.
Develop strategy and manage the process of bringing the identified marketing opportunities to a logical close, consistent with ACI’s sales best practices.
Manage ACI’s overall relationship with current and prospective customers, with emphasis on developing and maintaining effective relationships with key executives.
Customer satisfaction and loyalty are key requirements and measurements.
Manage all administrative aspects of the assignment including but not limited to account profiles, sales pipeline records, current and prospective customer org charts, etc.

Negotiate contracts resulting in long-term commitments and / or renewals in compliance with ACI documentation policies and procedures.
May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads.
Meet quota and sales activity requirements.
Keep current on ACI products / enhancements, competition activities and industry trends.
Take the lead role in facilitating cross-divisional collaboration to bring One ACI voice to our customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
3 years of successful inside sales experience in industries targeted by ACI (financial institutions, processors, merchants, etc.
preferably selling payments solutions.
