Latam MSST Group is responsible for technology maintenance and implementation in the region. Our main clients are Capital Markets and Securities Services business and support areas (PCU, Operations, Market Risk and CRMS).
We lead initiatives related to the E2E process of products under the MSST umbrella (FX, MM, FI, Derivatives, among others)
Manage medium to large projects in Andean and South Region and Latam countries for MSST products involving cross-functional, multi-geographic teams.
Develop business requirements and detailed project plans. Define and control project scope, schedule, budget and quality.
Manage communication at all levels.
Heavy interaction with all areas within Capital Markets : Business, Operations, PCU, Market Risk, CRMS to understand and record requirements and execute project plans.
Liaise with the global and regional technology teams for identification of functionality gaps, and providing support for functional specifications and testing.
Present status reports to Senior Business or Technology Management on different committees.
Coordinate UAT activities, leading teams towards final sign offs. Providing operations level support and training to users before, during and after the implementation of the project.
Works closely to Global Operations and Technology teams to leverage best practices and end-state applications.
Acts as SME for Markets Tech on Global initiatives. Serves as consultant to the business on process concerns / new product development initiatives.
Conduct the operational process review sessions, documenting 'as is' process and suggesting 'to be' processes based on best practices along with Citibank Country, regional & COE Operations teams and relevant application SMEs.
Suggest process improvement opportunities for best utilization of systems being implemented
Knowledge and understanding of banking industry, especially Markets products.·Understanding of Derivatives products including Equity Options, Futures and swaps.
Equity baskets derivatives and Stock Market derivatives.·Strong analytical background, making recommendations towards efficient solutions.
Bachelor's degree required, in Information Technology, or Quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field) with knowledge of financial mathematics.
Strong background and understanding of banking systems. Knowledge of technology a plus·Minimum of 5 years experience in Business analyses, requirements gathering, analysis, and implementations.
Use of project management tools a plus. ·Strong experience in MS Excel and MS SharePoint tools·Excels in communication skills given the multi teams, multi geographies environment.
Drives results and follows up with a sense of urgency.·Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) excellent communication skills.
Project management skills and capable of participating in multiple projects simultaneously to meet aggressive deadlines.
