Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :

  • Lead and contribute to the strategic planning, deploymentand execution of all related non-trade Procurement related activities in scope for Americas Region (LAM and NAM), including proper procedures and processes, KPI s and suppliers monitoring with major focus in Colombia, CAC (Panama and Caribbean Countries) Cluster and Category support for Americas Region .
  • Ensure that commercial and business relationships and engagements with suppliers and counterparts are handled according to policies, commercial targets, risk management and procurement category-related best practices.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead NTP activities for Colombia and CAC (Panama and Caribbean) Cluster and support Category for Americas Region.
  • Establishes and manages the whole process of non-trade procurement, including rules and procedures according to internal control processes.
  • Search, identifies, registers suppliers, requests and follows up on service deliveries / executions and manages procurement and services orders according to the signing matrix.
  • Controls KPI’s reports.
  • Coordinate non-trade Procurement team directly and indirectly and demand of services.
  • Oversee procurement activity with business stakeholders to ensure that procurements are let in accordance with policy and best practice guidance.
  • Lead supplier selection / pitch processes in alignment with business partners and negotiate contracts up to final authorization including dispute resolution, approving and qualifying suppliers.
  • Delivery of market analysis / research and industry / customer engagement to ensure robust business cases and sourcing plans for the adidas.
  • Build business relationships and effectively partner with relevant stakeholders & suppliers.
  • Continuous learning and development of procurement / category knowledge and methodologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for the procurement team to add value to the business.
  • Key Relationships :

  • Suppliers, Stakeholders from business, Finance Leadership, Legal, GOPS and FLM.
  • Regional & Global NTP team, Category Leads, GBS S2P and Operations teams.
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

  • Broad & deep knowledge in own functional area, combining strong theoretical and practical knowledge of sourcing strategies and procurement methodologies and concepts, including category management, TCO and life cycle of products / services, business partnering.
  • Soft & Hard skills balance driven.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues, managing risks and making effective decisions.
  • Project management skills with international project and process management knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate at pace and respond positively to change.
  • Action-oriented and solution-minded team player with high degree of self-management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and preferably P2P platforms such as SAP, COUPA and ARIBA.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written.
  • Travel up to 25%.
  • International diverse mindset.
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement or legal.
  • 3-5 years' experience in similar or adequate role in procurement environment, preferably with project or supplier management elements.
