The Market Client Manager is responsible for recruiting Jyvers, engaging and retaining Jyvers, implementing new processes, market P&L, market metrics, and building client relationships.

This position is crucial to understanding field execution and how that impacts our client partnerships and Jyvers. This role fosters long-lasting relationships and navigates client concerns to solve issues and identify additional business opportunities.

You will be leading client meetings, business reviews as well as traveling within your market to support field execution.

This role is both a hands-on and data-driven leader. This includes monitoring metrics to ensure your Market is operating at peak performance while also being hands-on visiting multiple stores and piloting new company rollouts as needed.

The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced, multitasked, dynamic team environment. This candidate will be extremely flexible and enjoy a startup environment that changes day to day, and will assume positive intentions at all times.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage P&L for your assigned Market and Areas
  • Elevate Jyver talent and in-store execution
  • Recruit and maintain a full pipeline of Jyvers
  • Pilot new initiatives
  • Obsess over building brand and store partnerships
  • Own all metrics and the success of your Market
  • Identify areas to increase Market revenue and improve margins
  • Lead Market meetings and store walkthroughs with key partners
  • Participate in building scalable and sustainable processes and procedures
  • Execution of in-store sales and merchandising initiatives
  • Forge and maintain key store and client relationships
  • Requirements

  • 4+ years management experience in Retail Store, DSD and / or CPG merchandising environment
  • Experience managing P&L
  • Working with Stores and Brands to maintain and build relationships
  • Experience leading meetings and store walkthroughs
  • Ability to travel throughout the market to ensure success
  • Data-driven leader
  • Experience expanding and growing business operations regionally
  • Demonstrated leadership of regional teams
  • Strong knowledge of retail and / or grocery store operations
  • Ability to be hands-on in stores and out in the field as needed
  • Strong ability to address and deescalate field concerns
  • Other Required Skills

  • Analyzing complex issues quickly and articulating options and recommendations
  • Managing time and projects, including prioritizing, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
  • Working with minimal direction or feedback; willing to make own decisions
  • Working with others, building relationships and communicating effectively via all channels
  • Utilizing productivity applications such as Google docs and Slack
  • Handling situations with credibility, honesty, professionalism, and confidence
