About the role

Currently, we are looking for a high-caliber Legal Assistant to join our team in Bogota on a full time basis. You will need to oversee all aspects related to corporate, consumer, competition, data protection, labor, tax, foreign exchange law, and other relevant topics in relation with the Colombian jurisdiction.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders in order to ensure legal conformity. You must be passionate, organized, eager to learn and willing to take on the responsibilities necessary to make things happen!

The core responsibilities include to participate, impact and support every internal and external procedure regarding legal issues.

What you'll do day in day out :

  • Draft, analyze, manage and follow up on contracts (suppliers, clients, commercial allies, etc.)
  • Review advertisement campaigns and claims
  • Work alongside our marketing team to set up terms and conditions for our promotions
  • Review the company’s commercial strategies to assure legal compliance
  • Manage the correct implementation of corporate governance decisions
  • Develop internal guidelines, policies and trainings to assure legal compliance
  • Review legal requirements made by authorities and draft their corresponding response
  • Identify the company’s needs from a legal standpoint
  • Investigate, analyze, compare and eventually propose regulatory alternatives that may impact the company’s activities
  • Validate and manage all legal documents
  • What you need to have :

  • Bachelor degree in Law : 2 years of experience maximum
  • Bonus points : Knowledge in Competition, Consumer, Labor or Corporate Law
  • Strong analytical and business skills
  • English fluency (oral & written)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team spirit and agility
  • Passion for disruptive innovation and technology
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
