This is an individual contributor role responsible for identifying opportunities, oversee, coordinate, & / or execute projects, manage day-to-day relationship and contractual agreement between a key partner and Visa, with the objective of growing the partner’s business within the LAC region by working closely with the client’s staff, and other internal and external stakeholders.
The role will be responsible for the execution of all related activities in the countries defined between the partner and Visa in the LAC region.
Manage contractual agreement between the partner and Visa Inc
In collaboration with the client & Visa, develop, document, coordinate, and ensure execution of annual value creation plan (with scope including all markets in which the partner & Visa have a contractual relationship)
Coordinate & lead monthly follow-up and coordination meetings between Visa and client’s stakeholders
Measure, monitor, & report the results achieved by the program and improvement / development activities.
Analyze market data and interact with teams at the client and Visa to identify opportunities in line with strategy & plan
Proactively develop ideas, pursue solutions and execute innovative projects to help improve performance of the program, including but not limited to acquisition channels, payment processes, mobile solutions, and others
Research and review best practices at the regional and global level in order to improve the program
Ensure coordination with internal teams at Visa and the client, to ensure the proper execution of all the activities related to the program
Together with the partner & Visa, help to ensure that value contained in the mutual agreements is fully achieved and appropriately invested (marketing funds, consulting funds, etc.)
Position will be responsible for managing the budget assigned to ensure implementation of plans are done on a timely basis and within budgeted resources
Reporting and General Requirements
Position will report to the Merchant Sales and Solutions hierarchy within Visa assigned to the client account and LAC region
Knowledge and understanding of the full credit card value chain, including banking operations, payment schemes, products & services, business systems and processes;
card acquiring experience desired
Market knowledge of Colombia in particular and Latin America
Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance including P&L responsibility
Sales and / or Industry Management experience
Excellent business planning and project management skills
Ability to work independently and engage multiple levels of management in key decisions where required for the business
Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities
Ability to multi-task numerous projects concurrently
Ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
Minimum of 10 years of experience in retail or payments industry preferable
Fluent in English and Spanish-
Ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
