The Team : M365 Core Ecosystem team is the team that builds :
the Substrate data plane business logic that powers core productivity data sets like mail, calendar, contacts, people, and tasks;
and the APIs exposing those capabilities.
The Microsoft Graph developer experiences, documentation, tooling and SDKs.
The tooling that enables API consistency across Microsoft and
The shared infrastructure that enables teams to participate in Microsoft Graph. We also drive the strategy for coherence, growth and security of the Microsoft 365 platform, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams all across Microsoft to realize the opportunity for Microsoft and the 3P ecosystem that builds high value applications for our common customers.
The Role : We are seeking sereval Data Scientists as part of our new Insights and Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering deep analytical insights to drive business success as well as productizing models to help drive usage growth of our platform.

Your responsibilities will include some or all the below :
Bring your experience to a vibrant team through design review, code review and mentoring while helping the team build an inclusive culture where each individual can do their best work.
Design, deliver, operate and iterate highly scalable, performant, and secure services with customer trust as core design principle
Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to problems like developer engagement, valuable apps, customer / user segmentation / classification to understand usage trends and drivers of satisfactions.
You will design experiments, analyze results and produce actionable, trustworthy conclusions from them.
Present findings and recommendations to key decision makers at various management levels
Drive innovation leveraging Data Science and Machine Learning, to experiment with and establish new ways of driving customer engagement by leveraging data ultimately resulting in usage and satisfaction growth
Bachelors, Masters or PH. D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience
Proficient coding in Python, C++, C#, or Java
Experience in designing, developing and shipping software
Knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms.
Sufficient verbal and written communication skills in English, especially in technical areas.
Excellent team player and committed to the success of others.
Bonus point to familiarity with pytorch or tensorflow.
