Responsibilities :

  • Support the design of the impact and performance evaluation in accordance with the Feasibility Study, USAID and Implementing partner’s decisions on the most appropriate type of evaluation, and the implementation plan, with the document following the guidelines of the MEL Activity.
  • Lead the quantitative methodology for the evaluation design.
  • Support the design of information gathering instruments.
  • Provide inputs for the request for proposals of the quantitative data collection firm (RFP) for the mid-term or final evaluation, including general guidelines regarding sample size, geography, and thematic lines.
  • Lead the analysis of quantitative baseline information for performance evaluation.
  • Follow the guidelines regarding the formats of presentation and visualization of the data outputs and other graphs that will be delivered by the MEL activity.
  • Support submissions and reports to USAID and the implementing partner.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings and workshops with the Implementing partner and USAID to coordinate the design of the evaluation with the implementation plan.
  • Participate in dissemination spaces with key actors.
  • Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in social sciences, development, or other relevant fields required.
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional career in social sciences, economics, or other relevant fields.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of quantitative instruments.
  • Experience in the development and measurement of indicators.
  • Desirable experience in impact and performance evaluations.
  • Experience working with USAID activities in Colombia preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
