JOB SUMMARY :
Develops, implements and / or maintains one or more accounting systems : Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.
Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements.
Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns.
May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.
S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.
Be updated with changes in the fiscal law. May prepare tax reports and related documentation. Prepares and creates standard and ad hoc reports

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Performs accounting functions for various general ledger accounts which involves the preparation of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
Alerts management of potential internal control issues or non-compliance with policy.
Completes special accounting projects assigned by management.
Provides internal and external audit deliverables.
Prepares and creates standard and ad hoc reports.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policy.
Responsible for other duties as assigned
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Experience in IFRS (NIIF)
Experience in preparing Tax reports
Experience in attending audits from control entities (DIAN, Superintendencia Sociedades)
3+ years related experience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including EXCEL and Word
Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information.
Desirable knowledge in Siigo accounting software
