Service Marketing Manager LATAM

Description

Responsible for developing the marketing strategy for Service in LATAM, as well as working with cross-functional partners appropriately to ensure successful tactical execution to drive revenue growth for service in the region.

Partner with the local Service & Commercial teams for new product launches and geographic expansions. Interface with internal and external customers to close projects that generate incremental revenue and support increased profitability of the service offering.

Successful candidates will be excited to work with a geographically and culturally diverse team of people that work across multiple time zones in an office and virtual environment including international travel.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

  • Understand and analyze the products, market, competition, and emerging customer needs specific to the LATAM region. Leverage the information to develop a strategy and service offerings to fit the needs of the LATAM clusters and countries, including both direct service and distributor-managed geographies.
  • Support Service Launch Readiness and Excellence by partnering with the local commercial team to ensure service offerings are defined prior to launch and are aligned to the country.
  • Create and execute on training, tools and marketing collateral to help the LATAM region promote the value of service and to successfully sell service to generate incremental revenue and maintain existing customer and distributor relationships.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining service catalog and pricing strategy, along with appropriate communication plan for internal stakeholders and external customer messaging.
  • Partner with Service and Commercial Leadership to evaluate profitability of existing and new service offers, identify trade-offs, actively seek out alternate solutions to overcome barriers and work collaboratively to ensure a positive outcome for the customer and Baxter.
  • Analyze best business practices around the region, identify the ones with the best ROI and provide recommendations for leveraging into other countries, including emerging markets.
  • Through market research, identify new service offerings, underserved markets, business models, process improvements, go-to market strategies that are supported by data and can be sustained operationally with short-term ROI.
  • Active contributor on the Technical Service LATAM Leadership Team
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Marketing experience; service marketing experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Medical Device industry experience required.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge or fluency in Mandarin preferred.
  • Superb presentation skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast paced, evolving environment.
  • Communication and collaboration : proactively share information within and across the organization; listens actively, tailors the message to the audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
  • Able to successfully navigate in a matrixed environment, build relationships, communicate effectively and work cross-functionally.
  • Able to work independently, multi-task and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Result oriented with a practical / pragmatic approach to problem solving.
