Channel Manager (CAM) in Colombia : Channel Sales Representative IV

Develop and nourish an eco-system of sales channels in the assigned territory, aiming to achieve Oracle Communications indirect sales targets ($).

  • As a CAM your primary focus will be to achieve the indirect sales targets to the assigned territory.
  • As a CAM you will recruit and manage partners within the modernized Oracle Partner Network (OPN), nourishing relationship and enabling them to resell Oracle Communications solutions.
  • You should identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle Communications products, building business plans and monitoring pipeline.
  • As a CAM, you should have a strong appetite for indirect sales achievements, with a hunter spirit. Sales and marketing skills are required for business analysis and closing deals methodologies.
  • As a CAM, you will plan and execute joint selling events towards customers, always making sure these partners have all the required credentials, Oracle internal approvals and resell rights.
  • Together with the partners in your territory, you should build "go-to-market" strategies and lead generation campaigns.
  • You should also provide accurate and timely management information on revenue forecasts.

  • You should have reasonable knowledge of Oracle Communications portfolio, being able to articulate our products value propositions to partners and their customers.
  • As a CAM you will support the sales executives to manage indirect transaction contracts, business practices and deal booking issues.
  • Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
  • Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.
  • 5-10 years business experience, preferably including years of channel sales and telecom experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in SPA / ENG.
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence peers and externals.
  • 50-60% travel
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Develops third party sales channel and ensures partner achieve Oracle sales targets in the General Business space.

    As a Channel Sales Representative you will pull partners into Oracle business opportunities and manage third party transactions resulting from the relationship.

    Identify and develop channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Facilitate joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team.

    Increase revenue from partner sources and market share through a leverage partnering model. Identify and develop joint "go-to-market" strategies and lead generation opportunities.

    Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts. May educate partners in Oracle commercial practices.

    Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Manage transaction contracts, business practices, and deal booking issues.

    Work with marketing to plan marketing events for partners.

    Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in area of specialization.

    8 years field sales experience to include 3 years channel sales experience. Strong sales / marketing skills including needs analysis, business justification, and closing methodologies.

    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Negotiating skills and ability to influence. Knowledge of Oracle field sales cycle and partner program.
