Responsibilities / Tasks
The key priorities for the role :
Ensure that a project is completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly.
Moreover, oversee the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.
The tasks and responsibilities for the role include :
Coordinate project resources and third parties / contractors for the flawless execution of projects;
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
Ensure resource availability and allocation;
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring;
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress;
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
Report and escalate to management as needed;
Coordinate the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders or to Project Director when necessary;
Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendors / contractors;
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
Apply roles of team;
Lead the planning and implementation of project;
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables;
Define project tasks and resource requirements;
Develop full scale project plans;
Assemble and coordinate project staff;
Manage project budget;
Manage project resource allocation;
Plan and schedule project timelines;
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools;
Provide direction and support to project team;

Reports to Head of Project Management LAM
Grade / Level Graduation (Engineering)
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders or to Project Director when necessary;
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions;
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
Project evaluations and assessment of results;
Lead team throughout project life cycle.
Maintain appropriate records by filing project notes and standards using the local regions filing procedures.
Keep up to date on all new products, product changes and general processing trends.
Prepare weekly timesheets and project reports.
Assist in other parts of the Company's business as required, to ensure the overall effectiveness of the Company.
Travel Requirements :
The employee will be based in an office location in Latin America.
Extensive travel will be required, involving extended periods on sites throughout LAM.

Your Profile / Qualifications
Project Manager should be detailed oriented, possess good English language communication skills, both verbal and written;
Must be self-motivated; Must possess good interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently as required;
Must have knowledge of MS-Project and MS-Office.

Communication requirements for the role :
Internal stakeholders : GEA Project Management, Project, Quality and HSE Managers, Project Engineering, APCs, Regional Sales, Cross-
Application, Supply chain and Logistics.
External stakeholders : Customers Site, HSE and Quality managers, GEA sub suppliers.
Type of communication : Face to Face, email and online meetings will be used to negotiate and harmonize internal / external stakeholders with regard to successful project delivery.
Knowledge / Work experience :
Knowledge / Education Degree in engineering or other relevant disciplines in the technique area are highly desirable.
Required languages Language Spanish or Portuguese would be preferred. Good working proficiency in English is mandatory.
Other qualification MBA in Project Management would be desirable; Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Knowledge in PMBOk (Project Management Body of Knowledge);
PMP certification is a plus
Relevant work experience Background experience in the chemical, dairy, food or beverage projects would also be highly desirable;
Experience in leadership; A record of successful project experience in the project management
