Position Title : Sales Manager, Commercial BU

Location : Bogotá, Colombia

Reports To : Sr Sales Manager, Andean & Central America

As the Sales Manager for Commercial BU you will be based in Bogotá and will be responsible for delivering the annual sales targets for Rubbermaid Commercial and Rubbermaid Consumer in Colombia.

You must work closely with Trade Marketing in developing plans, budgets and marketing activities. While running the day to day business, you will also identify new business opportunities and execute promotional activities with different customers which enable sales growth in the region.

This position leads a team of 6 sales representatives, which main objective is to achieve double digit sales growth in Colombia, where we run a local distribution model with local inventory and a customer base with more than 30 direct customers nationwide.

Besides leading the sales team, this position must develop relationships with distributors, retailers and key end users.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and execute annual budgets and operating plans for the area and key distributors

Prepare and execute promotional sales activities and campaigns, including new product launches

Analyze sellout KPIs for each customer in order to develop, present, and execute plans for sellout growth

Ensure proper reporting of sales activities

Budget and goals follow-up of customer base (distributors & retailers) in charge, pushing sales representatives’ team to achieve their objectives

Participate in trade shows

Train distributors’ key staff into product features and benefits

Develop competitive market intelligence to share with marketing teams


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent

At least 7 years of experience working in Sales, with preferred experience in B2B companies

At least 2 years ofexperience supervising sales teams

Intermediate level of MS Office and techonology tools

Availability to travel domestically and abroad

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with advanced level of English (speaking and writing)

Drive for Results, Collaboration skills, Consumer & Customer Focus & excellent negotiation capability
