The British Council Colombia is recruiting experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated teachers to join our diverse teaching team in Bogota.
We are keen to appoint people who can demonstrate good professional skills, are willing and able to positive team members.
We are currently offering 20 per week contracts. We provide a range of development opportunities, including the TYLEC, DELTA, in-
service training sessions, a mentoring scheme, and ICT training. There is also a generous regional professional development fund which can be applied for each year.
Opportunities for career development (eg becoming a Co-ordinator or Senior Teacher) as well as opportunities to become official examiners also exist.
Our Teaching Centre operation is successful, with two Bogota and three partner premises in highly established schools. You could be deployed to work in any of Bogotá.
We welcome your applications to join our successful and expanding team. You will have at least an undergraduate degree / or equivalent and preferably a TEFL-
Q (Cambridge or Trinity Diploma) qualification. A CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL qualification is essential. You must also be a highly proficient speaker of English (C2 level required).
Please note that applicants who do not hold CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL will automatically not be short-listed. We offer an excellent pro-
rata salary of between $ 4,000,000 to $ 5,080,000 Colombian pesos per month, depending on qualifications and experience, of on average 1 months' salary per year.
