Support CIB as part of COBAM CET.
Primary responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely completion of CDD applications / renewals, identification of required documentation, sourcing of underlying documents and maintenance of eCDD+ static data.
Customized research activity needs to be undertaken for difference client segments the same should be validated for on-boarding clients through the process of raising CDD profiles.
Put in place CDD on a timely basis in accordance with agreed standards.
Put in place CDD documentation / eCDD records for CIB Customers on direction from RM / GAM teams.
Obtain any missing client documentation by follow-up with RM / GAM / COBAM MO.
Escalation of issues on profile production to CDD Checker / Supervisor / Manager.
Liaise with GAM teams to establish appropriate GAM, source documentation, record and obtain sign off from GAMs.
Plan / prioritize and track CDD review workload to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain CDD database in respect of CIB Customers.
Cross train other team members to provide intra team resource cover.
Understand and comply with all relevant policies and procedures issued by the Group / WBFCR.
Perform Check tasks when required.
Responsible to make and check CDDs as per established standard process.
Complete the work in accordance with Group CDD Policies, Procedures and Country Addendum requirements to identify and manage potential issues / risks.
This includes escalating issues for action when required.
Need to have awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

COBAM-CET Team For documentation clarification.
Product Partner Implementation Team For Coordinating downstream documentation requirement.
Core account opening team For CDD documentation that supports account opening.
Review and address CST / QA observations.
Attend training sessions and complete eLearnings.
Assist with Ad-hoc requests when required.
Our Ideal Candidate
Good background / understanding of CDD policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of CDD covering Financial Institutions (Correspondent Banking).
Knowledge of Financial Crime Risk / Anti-Money Laundering & Sanctions related risks.
An analytical and enquiring mind.
Good attitude and work well within teams are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Diligent and detail oriented.
ACAMS Certification is a plus but not required.
