Corporate Culture & DEI Senior Manager
As a Corporate Culture & DEI Senior Manager, you will provide leadership and management associated with Avianca's Corporate Culture & DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) capabilities.
The Corporate Culture & DEI Senior Manager is part of Avianca's Human Resources organization and reports to the Chief People & Talent Officer.
Serves as a trusted thought partner to model out the Avianca culture, change management and implementation processes to better enable accountability and employee engagement.
Provide coaching, consulting and facilitation support to Avianca leaders and colleagues as organizational change and culture programs are implemented
Drive a feedback culture to enable employees an opportunity for dialogue
Partner with various leaders and team members across the organization to ensure an accountability culture that is equitable and inclusive
Drive a culture of recognition through initiatives that encourage and reinforce behaviors that demonstrate a commitment to Avianca's purpose, vision, values and beliefs at all levels
Researches, develops, recommends, and executes creative strategies to foster the organizations diversity goals.
Reviews current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support the company's diversity goals.
Provides guidance to supervisory and human resources staff in developing objective performance and other employee evaluations and policies.
Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
Provides training and policy updates to colleagues, ensuring legal compliance of management and human resources staff.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
At least ten years of progressive work experience in Human Resources or related experience required with at least five years specializing in diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
Ability to set goals and create action plans; strong sense of follow-through
Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
Ability to create and maintain collaborative relationships across multiple teams / individuals
Experience leading people and partnering with leaders to achieve cross-functional process-related changes
Ability to work in a multinational environment and lead virtually with strong collaboration and partnering skills
Strong change enablement skills and ability to understand implications and organizational impacts of proposed cultural changes.
Fluent in English and Spanish. Work location Bogotá (Colombia).
