Role Description

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for the expansion and growth of Open LMS’s extensive client base in the Latin and Central American region.

You’ll have access to an extensive portfolio of powerful, flexible products together delivering a solid mix of sales opportunities at varying prospect-to-close timelines.

What you’ll be doing

Specifically, you will build an executive-level understanding of client challenges in supporting enterprise-level e-Learning and positioning our solutions and technical services over time to achieve mutual success.

You will be the single executive point of customer contact and will work to keep key client relationships in good health as well as direct the engagement of our Solutions Engineers, Consulting, and Services teams for clients and opportunities within your territory.

Expected activities include :

  • Qualifying, pursuing and closing sales opportunities within your territory
  • Exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Engaging with technical and / or executive team members in complex sales scenarios
  • Developing client proposals that effectively communicate our products and offer customized solutions for each unique nonprofit organization
  • Using / maintaining internal sales tools (salesforce.com) for CRM and pipeline management
  • Ongoing, self-directed monitoring of the marketplace and competitor developments
  • Regular engagement with product management to deliver intelligence on client needs

    You should :

  • Be kind, constructive, thoughtful and honest.
  • Have experience with enterprise solution or technical sales
  • Posses a deep understanding of working in a tertiary education context with significant professional experience in the broader education sector (e.
  • g. teaching, management, services, program management, consulting)

  • Has excellent oral and written presentation skills with a high attention to detail and time management
  • Has experience maintaining effective working relationships at senior management levels and demonstrated success closing sales in a market where hitting growth goals will require displacing an existing product.
  • Experience with the Challenger sales methodology is a plus.

  • Professional networks in the education sector or professional experience with Learning Management Systems, previous Moodle-based solution experience is a plus
  • Can travel up to 50% (when safe)
