Senior Principal Consultant, RGBU Preferred Qualifications The Role The Retail Stores Consulting Engagement andSales Representative reports to the Stores Consulting leader and is responsiblefor selling Omni-channel consulting services to customers to facilitate their successfulimplementation / operation of Oracle products.

This individual manages the sales process;from account planning, opportunity development, service solution development,internal approvals, negotiating through to signature and booking of aconsulting engagement.

The Retail Stores Consulting Engagement andSales Representative works in close collaboration with the Consulting teams onthe implementation work effort, scope, timeline, price estimates, and delivery methodto promote agreement and a smooth transition from sales to delivery.

This role is accountable for an LAD annualquota and quarterly sales booking target. Accountabilities and Responsibilities + Lead Oracle Retail consulting sales initiatives, focuson Omni products.

  • Engage with customers and prospects to understand theircurrent needs and propose an architecture that meet their needs.
  • Work in partnership with Oracle's Product Sales Team(License / Software).+ Understand concepts of on premise and cloudimplementations.
  • Understand implementation Methodologies for bothOn-Premise / Traditional projects, as well as Cloud / SaaS implementations.
  • Create consulting offerings aligned with the LatinAmerica market needs.+ Manage key customer engagements (understand how tohandle customer expectations, escalations and run quarterly businessreviews).
  • Must be able to report pipeline and bookings in astructured manner.* You will carry a quota for consulting sales for your territory and youwill be required to work to the quarterly regional goals, and within defineddeal margins.
  • Main point of contact for customers in the licence sales cycle.* Responsible for generating leads, developing opportunities, and closingconsulting engagements.
  • Develop strong business relationships with clientcontacts and across the whole Oracle organisation. Skills and Experience Experienced selling solutionsfor large software implementations.
  • Experience in the delivery oflarge, complex system implementations as Project manager or lead consultantwill be an advantage.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of theconsulting delivery process.* Familiarity with Point-of-Sale,customer relationship management and loss prevention systems a plus+ Preferable knowledge in Oracle Retail Omni productssuch as XStore, Customer Engagement and Order Broker.
  • Must have knowledgein Retail industry.* Experience working withthird-party providers and systems integrators* Must have selling, communication and presentation skills.

  • Must speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.* May be required to travel up to 50-75% of the time. Detailed Description and Job Requirements An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product / technology family.
  • Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.

    May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

    May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations.

    Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred.

    Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively.
