OncoHemato Value Access Manager

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will report to the Value Access Senior Manager to :

  • Ensure interaction for successful coverage and reimbursement decisions to maximize patient access to Amgen therapies.
  • Support Contracting mechanisms, Managed Entree Agreements (MEAs) with value design and implementation.
  • Adopting Global Value proposition and Brand strategies into local value propositions / strategies and access projects.
  • Initiate local payer / provider interactions with value evidence & Core value dossiers.
  • Establish Access with external KOL network in local institutions (providers, payers, logistic operators)
  • Provide local inputs on Global Value Proposition and Global Value Dossier development.
  • Achieve active engagement in health policy changes and discussion in branch organization, scientific societies and with external clients.
  • Act as project manager from strategic projects / activities from Value & Access areas for prioritized institutions.
  • Responsibilities

  • Initiate the most effective and timely strategy to obtain market access for products at country / local level by managing timely preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files.
  • Anticipate changing payer landscape maintaining deep understanding of payers, including emerging trends that might impact Amgen products.
  • Take leadership of contracting mechanisms and HTAs in the local level in close collaboration with HEOR, Medical and Marketing colleagues.
  • Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy until P&R and during the life cycle of the product by working closely with R&D, Medical, Marketing & Sales and regulatory to secure broad product access for Amgen new, existing, and upcoming product portfolio.
  • Developing & rolling out an engagement strategy with key payers, healthcare providers and selected stakeholders.
  • Value Evidence Generation in scope of dossiers and publications.
  • Map local payers and access influencing networks.
  • Map health care providers for Amgen more prone to Amgen product portfolio and sub-populations more relevant to guarantee access.
  • Develop & roll out an engagement strategy with key payers and other relevant opinion leaders (e.g. advisory boards, stakeholders summit meeting) to support market access activities.
  • Support reimbursement / pricing negotiations with payers and providers.
  • Provide input for local requirements in the international value dossier & payer plan.
  • Liaise with EU and global colleagues to create a strong relationship and defend and support the affiliate success
  • Authority

  • Management of local Value based initiatives and local Access Projects.
  • Sign off local V&A vendor contracts.
  • Follow-up of brand V&A activities.
  • Execution of team budget and functional budget.
  • Outputs

  • Local product related Access / P&R strategies
  • Develop influencer map for payer and KOLs (Payers, HE, HC Providers, Physicians)
  • Responsible local V&A publications
  • Established local V&A KOL network
  • Achieve financial and technical KPIs for projects and initiatives

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Academic education in Administration, epidemiology, Economics, Health Services Research or Healthcare administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leading pharmaceutical / biotechnology company, healthcare institution or related consultancy entity with desired experience in the therapeutic area of Oncology / Hematology.
  • Experience with government or insurers could be homologated.

  • Strong understanding of Colombian healthcare system with experience in this environment
  • Desired experience in structuring or implementing value based / innovative contracting
  • Desired proficiency in oral and written English.
  • Experience in communicating complex V&A issues to non-experts.
  • Solid project management skills for multiple tasks / projects / priorities and complex issues to propose innovative solutions.
  • Strong cross functional leadership within the organization and ability to drive and influence peers in complex (matrix) organization.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in local healthcare environment.
  • Desired Oncology / Hematology background
