The Role
We are looking for a creative and highly skilled Editor to join a fast-growing, multi-site company. We are a growing department looking to hire someone who knows how to create captivating films, and is good at creative problem solving.
You will also need to be confident, positive and engaging in this client facing role.
Working across a wide variety of short format broadcast and digital content projects, we are looking for an individual capable of interpreting creative briefs and communicating key themes and narratives with creative flair and accuracy.

In this role you will
Have the ability to work under minimal supervision to self execute a project, as well as to work with other departments to complete larger projects
Be able to interpret and execute creative briefs into films for final delivery
Have strong editing skills with a good eye for composition and timing
Have a flair for story-telling and an ability to maximise the soundbed with music and sound effects
Have the ability to work on both creative offline projects and online projects
Effectively communicate ideas in an organised way, within a collaborative team environment
Be dilligent, collaborative and be able to follow company best practice’ processes, naming conventions and media organisation
Be detail oriented and have strong organisation and communication skills
Be a problem solver
Be able to work accurately, to tight deadlines, in a high pressure environment, across multiple projects concurrently
Be friendly, hard-working, and a team player with a good sense of humour!
Qualifications
Core experience and skills
A minimum of 3 years experience in short-form advertising environment
Advanced knowledge of Premiere
Strong technical knowledge of post-production workflows, file formats and delivery specs for Broadcast and Social platforms
Online editing experience, conforming, clocking, creating clearcast legals, QC and exporting broadcast deliverables
Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop
Basic knowledge of grading and sound mixing
Experience cutting music to suit different edits
Experience doing picture and audio research
A strong showreel is essential
