Responsibilities Provides professional expertise in ecosystem management and assists in the development of land management recommendations.
Point of contact for the integrated management of biological and physical resources to facilitate vegetation projects. Coordinates all forest management-
related Geographic Information System (GIS) related activities, both internally and with other agencies. Coordinates and provides direction for data preparation, entry, and analysis by a diverse group of resource specialists to support plans and proposals.
Conducts planning and environmental compliance efforts for the Field Office by following and implementing NEPA guidance.
Performs threatened and endangered species consultative and advisory services with other federal, state, and local groups and agencies.
