CDP Latin America - Corporations and Supply Chains Intern (located in Bogotá)

Position Description :

CDP is an international not-for-profit organization providing the only global environmental disclosure system to businesses, investors, cities, states and regions.

CDP is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team to support Corporations and Supply Chain programs at CDP Latin America as our Disclosure Intern.

CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) is a global not-for-profit organization, founded in 2000 and headquartered in London.

We pioneered and provide the world’s only global natural capital disclosure system where over 8,500 companies, representing over 50% of the market capitalization of the world’s largest 30 stock exchanges, and 750 cities from 100 countries, report, share and take action on vital environmental information.

We operate our global disclosure system on behalf of 550 institutional investors representing over a third of the world’s invested capital and 120 corporations with US$3,3 trillion of annual purchasing spend.

The insights it brings enables investors, companies, cities and governments to understand and act on the business case for reducing impacts on the environment and natural resources.

The internship will be based in Bogotá / Colombia and responding to CDP Latin America’ main office in São Paulo / Brazil.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of activities within the Latin America team.

The key areas of responsibility include supporting more than 900 companies during the disclosure period, generating analytical reports from CDP’s database of corporate environmental and general presentations.

Attention to detail, efficiency, organization, and the ability to collaborate in a dynamic and international team environment are fundamental to this role.

You will be given full support in developing the skills needed to thrive in a professional environment. You will have the opportunity to hone your skills across a number of areas and receive constructive feedback on your work from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Support companies during the disclosure period;
  • Assist Account Managers and keep records updated at CRM;
  • Support analytical reports from CDP’s database of corporate environmental data;
  • Opportunities to assist on projects for the global Corporations and Supply Chain team, as they arise;
  • Database management for the Corporations and Supply Chain program, in different platforms (CRM, CMS, Analytics, SharePoint and others);
  • Support sales meetings and trainings with translations, analysis, reports and presentations;
  • The successful candidate will have :

  • Graduate on Environment related areas, Engineering, Business Administration or Economy;
  • To be attending the last 2 years of the University;
  • Knowledge and interest on Environmental key areas, mainly climate change, water security and land use and land use change;
  • Excellent analytical skills (excel domain);
  • Good communications skills;
  • Technologically competent : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web;
  • Well organized, reliable, consistent and with get-the-job-done attitude;
  • Capable of working independently, yet as part of a team;
  • Ability to work on an environment with multiple tasks;
  • Fluent in English, and basic skills in Portuguese will be a plus.

  • The candidate will be expected to work 5 days per week and 6 hours per day.
