The Head of Channel Marketing leads the business strategy (Trade Strategy, Game Plan, Category Strategy & Plan) Diageo, by creating value for and with our customers, ensuring the sales and marketing team a brilliant execution of the plans.
Thinking of categories and provide the necessary solutions to the customer
Overall, Channel Development is responsible to drive the creation, evolution and implementation of retail strategies and platforms that enables the POP to become the perfect stage for our brands’ to perform, accelerating category growth and enhancing Diageo’s partnership value perception among customers
Responsible for defining the strategy of the channel (JUBP), which involves : identifying issues and opportunities, defining the vision and role of the alcoholic beverage category (TBA) for the channel, as well as the definition of the activity plan to support Diageo business strategies
Set in conjunction with sales and marketing, the activities required to achieve brand strategies in the channel, defining KPIs and ensuring excellence in the design of activities by BTL agencies.
Responsible for the design of the building blocks in conjunction with marketing, to ensure the accuracy of the inventory of our brands as part of the S&OP process
