Essential Functions / Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinates as smart hands with different technology workgroups
  • Attends to break / fix engagement as required by the Situation Management for technology related problems and issues received from both internal and external client
  • Coordinate and supervise the IT staff team that support :
  • oProvide telephony support in performing installation and troubleshooting on telephone sets, and voice mailboxes

    oPerform hardware and software upgrades to peripheral equipment

    oAttend to break / fix engagement as required by Situation Management for technology related problems and issues received from both internal and external clients

    oPrepares, maintains and submits reports and applicable records of computer hardware and software inventory by site and system

    oPerform site maintenance and safety checks of assigned equipment

    oPerform checks and ensure that antivirus definition, Microsoft patches are updated as outlined by Desktop Engineering

  • Make analysis of the trend of issues, incidents and request, and purpose anticipated actions plan to mitigate the impact in the users works.
  • Collaborate to the IT Manager in the administrative task and project planning and execution
  • Manage the IT purchases required for the users operations (Capex / Opex)
  • Candidate Profile

  • MUST be available to work in revolving shifts 24 / 7 with two days off per week
  • MUST be willing to work on site (not WAH)
  • MUST be fully bilingual, minimum a B2 English proficiency will be accepted
  • 7+ years’ experience in IT operations, IT Service Delivery or related
  • Strong knowledge in IT Service Delivery Management
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Masters preferred
  • Technical background in Windows, Network, Voice and Security
  • Proven track record in successfully establishing, building and growing business relationships
  • Project management background preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with history of delivering results
  • Strong capacity to work with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience with conflict resolution
  • Outstanding communication / presentation skills with proven record of leading through influencing others across a geographically dispersed, highly matrixed organization.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Certification in any of the following preferred : ITIL v3, Cobit, MCSE,A+, Network+, A+, N+ and / or MCTS / MCITP, CCNA, Avaya
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables
  • Self-starter, sense of urgency, and works well under pressure
