The HR Manager - LATAM will have broad expertise in all HR related areas, including as a business partner, employee and labor relations, benefits and compensation administration, recruitment, and employee development.

Partner with management to identify, develop, and direct a variety of activities to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and professional development to drive the growth of AxiomSL.

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations, particularly in the talent development and employee engagement.
  • Partner and advise global HQ on reviewing and enhancing the HR policies and processes across the region on a strategic and operational level.
  • Support senior stakeholders on strategic solutions or guidance which will promote the business objectives and goals.
  • Review and Approve payroll ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance to local requirements.
  • Manage recruitment process : campus recruiting, recruiter relationships, interview protocol, and training, applicant tracking and reporting.
  • Oversee the visa process for staff and secondment overseas.
  • Resource for benefits, policies, procedures, leave, personal issues, attendance, etc.
  • Drive strategy, planning, and execution around HR initiatives, such as organizational development, team building, and leadership development.
  • Participate in Global HR initiatives as appropriate.
  • Streamline, Build and Manage payroll process (with internal and external stakeholders) to ensure adequate internal controls, drive efficiencies and process improvements, minimize reliance on manual work and / or review while ensuring timely review of ALL payroll computations.
  • Champion best practices / solutions tailored for LATAM
  • Partner with management and support department heads to handle / resolve employee relations, employee issues, promotions / demotions, staffing
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create job descriptions, performance evaluation criteria and organizational structure
  • Maintain all employee benefit plans with brokers and providers
  • Implement, establish, and review policies and procedures to maintain compliance with local laws
  • Administer and process all PTO, leave of absence ensuring compliance with all labor laws and local policies.
  • Handle all employee matters including new hires, terminations, and promotions (including offer letters, onboarding, terminations, and orientations)
  • Requirements

  • 7-10 years of HR experience required; some supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Fluent English speaker with previous HR experience working across Latam.
  • Organized, strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience with payroll / compensation benefits required
  • Deliver accurate, timely and quality HR support
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and highly analytical.
  • Strong experience influencing and building effective working relationships with executive leadership
  • Previous experience working remotely as part of a larger HR function
  • Strong people management skills with a coaching mindset approach to team leadership
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills
  • HR Leadership experience in start-up / developing environment would be a distinct advantage
  • Strong experience supporting a regional client base across the region
  • Adaptable, flexible approach to problem-solving with a can-do’ attitude
  • Experience managing and resolving complex business issues
  • Proven ability to partner with business in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working for a technology-focused organization supporting a large sales organization
  • Portugues is a plus
