The Senior Accountant provides organized and detailoriented professional services for full cycle accounting support within theFinance division of a growing financial company.

English Required : 8.0

Responsibilities

G / Lpostings, fixed assets / depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses,and accrued liabilities support.

BankReconciliations

Balancesheet reconciliations and transactional review support.

Processcorporate AR transactions; including invoicing and payment applications.

Producedaily, weekly, and monthly GL, AR, and Cash reporting.

Assistin monthly close process and financial statement preparation.

Assistwith budgeting, financial statement, loan covenant, and variance analysis.

Monitorand maintain integrity of the GL accounting system, specifically the chart ofaccounts and subaccount list.

Correspondwith banks and other agencies for issue resolution and responses to inquiriesin a professional manner.

Assistwith preparation and responses for audits.

Updateand maintain policies & procedure documentation.

Meetthe contractual commitments to client(s) through timely and accurate reportingand issue resolution.

Performother job-related duties as directed by supervisor.

Skills and qualifications

  • Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding and experience with accrualaccounting
  • Intermediate level of understanding and experience withMicrosoft Excel, preferably with experience using pivot tables
  • Communicates effectively in individual or groupsituations including demonstrating active listening skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and inwriting, using accurate grammatical form, and able to read and interpretwritten information.
  • Ability to coach and develop accounting team.
  • Ability to effectively interact with customer base andmaintain excellent customer relations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively with other internal andexternal departments.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Problem solving skills are mandatory as well as abilityto manage resources to complete team goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills : Excel, Word, and E-mail.Sage Intacct & Prism HRP experience is a plus Experience
  • A degree in accounting or related field (or equivalentexperience).
  • 3-5 years’ experience in accounting, at bothtransactional and analysis level.
  • Experience with multi-company / divisional financialsand job costing highly desirable.
  • Experience with external and internal auditing andcompliance preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills : Excel, Word and E-mail. SageIntacct and Prism HRP experience is a plus.
  • A high standard of integrity and sound business ethics.
  • Ability to work effectively with other internal andexternal departments.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
