Your Responsibilities :

Lead the therapeutic area assigned in the medical department acting as a strategic partner for the business with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the business objectives in the short, medium and long term.
Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of the Medical Plans (MP) of the medical team of the assigned therapeutic area.
Lead and support the Managers / Medical Advisors / MSL for the execution of the MPs guaranteeing the alignment in the team.
Ensure focus, alignment and compliance with the policies and procedures of the company in Medical Governance and Scientific Engagement.
Establish close relationships in an appropriate manner with the Health Authorities, Regulatory Agencies, Medical / Scientific Associations / Societies and Community of External Experts, to provide them with complete and accurate information through the appropriate channels and following the highest standards of scientific dialogue for increase the knowledge of the disease and development of effective therapies in prevention and / or treatment.
Provide advice / support to marketing, commercial and sales force to conduct promotional activities according to our Code of Promotional Practices and Interaction with Customers.
Participate and collaborate closely with the Commercial area in the strategic planning, launches, product development and promotional campaigns of the portfolio.
Participate in the review and approval of promotional activities and materials in accordance with corporate policies, Code of Promotional Practices and relevant local laws / regulations.
Advise and collaborate with the regulatory area to provide / construct / review the medical-scientific information and / or Health Economics & Outcomes for the submission of new products or indications and updating of IPs, as required.
Participate and / or conduct relevant training activities related to the policies or procedures of Scientific Engagement, Medical Governance and Code of Promotional Practices.
Support and / or develop medical-scientific training activities related to the products (illness, product, competition, etc.
for the sales force and the corresponding people in other areas of the company.
To be the support for the Commercial and Marketing areas in the decision to register and launch new products from the assigned portfolio, reviewing the information contained in the Company's Product Portfolio, through bibliographic support and establishing contact with groups of Physicians specialized in the specific Area.
Develop and implement a training plan for members of the assigned medical team to maintain a broad knowledge of the disease and its treatment.
Our area of Medical is characterized to be the Strategic Partner to communicate our data in adequate manner to internal and external community and bring the voice of patients and HCP to our strategy.
Basic qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals :
Physician with 3 years of experience in clinical practice or in epidemiology and / or Internal Medicine or other clinical / surgical specialty and / or 5 years in similar positions in the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge in Fundamentals of epidemiology and critical analysis of clinical studies.
Health system and Colombian legislation
Knowledge Regulatory Standards (INVIMA, FDA, EMA, AFIDRO, Etc.)
Foundations of Good Clinical Practice in Research and Clinical Studies.
Effective presentations and assertive communication.
Preferred qualifications :
However, if you have the following, it would be a plus :
Specialization preferably in the clinical area and / or epidemiology and / or Pneumology.
Knowledge in the treatment of COPD and patients with Asthma in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience as a teacher and / or researcher and previous management of this same therapeutic area.
Experience in managing teams.
