Act as Procurement Business Partner (PBP), responsible for aligning with a defined group of Functional, Category or Divisional stakeholders.

The PBP supports the development of regional & global category strategies by understanding the business needs, challenging demand and transmitting relevant input to the category organization.

The PBP leads local implementation of global, regional and local strategies and projects, including the management of key global and local suppliers.

The PBP builds effective and own the relationships with the key business ensuring procurement targets are achieved while business stakeholder satisfaction is kept at a high level.


Responsible for managing the following activities related to Procurement managed categories or Divisional objectives

  • Own the customer relationships on behalf of Procurement across categories
  • Align with Business & Procurement by building effective relationships with Business stakeholders in relevant functions and divisions
  • Support Regional & Global category strategy developmen
  • t by understanding the business needs and plans while challenging demand

  • Provide country-level input to, and validation for, Global and Regional Category Strategy and the Annual Country / Cluster Plan including facilitating involvement of relevant country / cluster-level stakeholders
  • Implement on a timely manner Local, Regional & Global category strategy and projects supporting the country / Cluster Procurement Productivity delivery
  • Manage global, regional and local supplier relationship as agreed in the supplier segmentation
  • Accountable for coordinating with the country / cluster Ops Team the execution of country / cluster project related activities with NGSCs and for the communication and update to local Stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance to procurement guidelines (Local Procurement SOP, Responsible Procurement, Third Party Guideline, Supplier Code, Spend and Savings) and support other related guidelines where applicable (such as : QA Vendor Qualification, IGM, Data Privacy)
  • Proactively identify and act to mitigate potential risks related to Procurement in scope third parties.
  • Ensure periodical category update of category playbooks to reflect local reality.
  • Support Legal and User with related category contract management within a procurement scope
  • Meet annual targets.

    Minimum requirements

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Degree in Business Administration, Economy or Engineering. MBA, CIPS or similar qualification desirable Excellent Local language (oral and written) Very good knowledge in English (oral and written) Experience in Procurement of 3+ years.

    Experience in project & category management, demand management, negotiation.
